The core mandate of this directorate entail:
- Develop, implement and review policies and standards to guide the design and administration of the Fund’s products and services;
- Provide technical advisory to stakeholders on the Fund management;
- Determine and review administrative fees and interest rates for Financial Inclusion products and services;
- Develop framework for prioritization and allocation of funds;
- Oversee the development of financial forecasting and planning framework;
- Develop a Digital Commercialization Strategy;
- Establish an integrated Financial Inclusion Fund database;
- Develop and manage financial infrastructure accessible across the country.
- Register trademarks, patent and copyright for the Fund’s products;
- Design, implement and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for product development and innovation;
- Oversee research and innovation of the Fund’s programmes, products and services;
- Collaborate with research institutions and other relevant stakeholders on the development of the Fund’s products, programmes and services;
- Establish and maintain a research-based database;
- Oversee knowledge management initiatives and strategies in the Fund; and
- Produce, publish and disseminate research findings.
The core mandate of this directorate entail:
- Develop, implement and review policies and strategies on planning, monitoring and evaluation, performance management and resource mobilization;
- Coordinate the development, implementation and review of the Fund’s strategic plan, service charter and performance contracts;
- Spearhead the development of the Fund’s work plans and align them to the budget;
- Oversee the development and implementation of the Performance Monitoring Plans (PMP) and reporting;
- Coordinate the preparation of the Fund’s performance management framework;
- Oversee the development of frameworks for engagement with development partners, private sector and financial institutions;
- Collaborate with private sector, development partners and other stakeholders for resource mobilization;
- Develop a framework for monitoring and evaluation of the Fund’s projects and programmes;
- Oversee the monitoring of projects and programmes in the Fund;
- Coordinate the performance management framework for the Fund; and
- Coordinate the preparation of the Fund’s status report and other periodic statutory reports.
The core mandate of this directorate entail:
- Develop, implement and review policies and strategies on capacity building and entrepreneurship development;
- Identify skills gap of the entrepreneurs;
- Design and develop training programs on entrepreneurship and general financial literacy;
- Develop and maintain both manual and electronic training materials to be used by the entrepreneurs;
- Develop, implement and review support programmes for the Fund’s beneficiaries in underserved segments of the economy;
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure adequate capacity is built in identified value chains;
- Formulate, review and implement programmes to address the needs of the underserved at the bottom of the pyramid;
- Develop and implement follow-up support programs including mentorship, coaching and incubation across the country.
- Develop, implement and review policies, standards, guidelines and procedures on corporate communications;
- Develop, review and implement communications strategy and plan to support the Fund’s objectives;
- Manage corporate image of the Fund;
- Coordinate the development, implementation and review of the Service Charter;
- Coordinate official communication with the media and coverage of Fund’s events;
- Coordinate the Fund’s public functions and corporate events;
- Develop and manage the Fund’s website and social media accounts;
- Manage customer service including staff sensitization on public complaints, resolution and access to information;
- Facilitate the development of Information, Education, Communication (IEC) materials;
- Facilitate establishment of market networks, infrastructure development and linkages for Fund’s products and services;
- Undertake crisis management and communication;
- Manage Fund’s corporate social responsibility programmes; and
- Create linkages and partnerships with internal and external stakeholdersto ensure fair reporting and representation of the Fund

- Develop, implement, and review policies and standards to guide the design and administration of the Fund’s loans and investments;
- Implement the framework for prioritization and allocation of funds;
- Review and implement the designed credit and investments product to ensure they are fit for purpose;
- Oversee the creation and implementation of a working credit-scoring process;
- Design, implement and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for credit and investments;
- Create and document the necessary loan disbursement processes and procedures;
- Create and implement the key collection processes and procedures of the loans already given;
- Oversee development, implementation and review a risk and quality assurance management framework for the Fund;
- Design and develop financial inclusion products and services;
- Coordinate development of criteria for loans and savings disbursement;
- Oversee development of a debt recovery strategy;
- Operationalized the Centralized Loan Management System;
- Develop a clear fund investment strategy to ensure maximum risk-adjusted returns;
- Develop a clear framework to guide the distribution of the investment returns to the members;
- Ensure up to date data for all the Fund beneficiaries; and
- Work with various partners to develop various loan management reports.
