He is skilled at offering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), High Net-Worth Individuals, Personal Clients, and Corporate Clients.
Mr. Tanui is passionate about economic and financial matters, with a strong interest in the development of both national and international financial systems. He has also practiced Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms and has been involved in mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout his career, Mr. Tanui has gained valuable experience in the commercial banking sector, having worked at Ecobank, Consolidated Bank of Kenya, and Industrial Development Bank of Kenya which is currently part of the Kenya Development Corporation (KDC) and has been associated with other major financial institutions. His broad exposure has given him in-depth knowledge of Kenya’s economic development and the role of financial services in supporting it.
During his tenure at Ecobank Kenya Limited, he rose through the ranks to become the East African Community (EAC) Cluster Head of Risk Management and Country Risk Manager. In these roles, he was instrumental in shaping the risk frameworks across the region.
