KAIMOSI AGRICULTURAL EXPO 2026 AT KARTC, NANDI COUNTY

The Fund's CEO, Mr. Henry Tanui, visited the Hustler Fund exhibition stand, where he interacted with customers, farmers, and entrepreneurs. He engaged them on the Fund's products, received their feedback, and encouraged them to leverage affordable financing to grow their enterprises.

The exhibition stand attracted numerous visitors seeking information on the Fund's products and services, with the team providing guidance and responding to customer enquiries.

The Hustler Fund remains committed to advancing financial inclusion by providing affordable financing solutions that empower entrepreneurs, farmers and MSMEs across the country.

The event was graced by Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.

In his address, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, applauded the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for its longstanding partnership with Kenya, highlighted by the launch of a new FAO-supported curriculum at Kaimosi Agricultural Research and Training Centre (KARTC). He reaffirmed agriculture as the backbone of Kenya's economy and underscored the Government's commitment to the sector through initiatives such as subsidized fertilizers and new coffee reforms. He further called for increased investment in climate-smart agriculture, research, and value addition to enhance productivity and economic growth before officially declaring the Kaimosi Agricultural Expo 2026 open.

Head of the Public Service, Felix Kosgei, commended the progress made by KARTC, encouraged locals to enrol in agricultural training programmes, appreciated FAO for their support, and also reaffirmed the government's commitment to strengthening the agricultural sector.

The Fund's CEO, Mr. Henry Tanui, noted that Nandi County continues to benefit from the Fund's Financial Inclusion initiatives, with over Kshs. 1.6 billion disbursed to more than 437,897 residents with a repayment rate of 85%.

Also present were H.E Hon Stephen Sang, Governor of Nandi County, Nandi County Commissioner, MPs, CECs, MCAs and other national and county leaders.
