NYOTA LAUNCH AT KAKAMEGA

Hustler Fund CEO Mr. Henry Tanui joined H.E. President Dr. William Samoei Ruto in Launching the NYOTA Project in Mumias, Kakamega County.

The National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Project targets over 820,000 young people across the country seeking to create jobs and expand opportunities for youth through four key interventions; apprenticeship and work experience, entrepreneurship and business support, recognition of prior learning, promotion of youth savings and digital skilling.

A total of KSh 267 million has been disbursed today to 12,155 youth from Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma, and Vihiga Counties, who have successfully completed business skills training and qualified for business capital support.

The NYOTA Project will support 110,000 youth entrepreneurs in growing their ventures, improving their livelihoods, and creating opportunities for others. By providing business training rants and business capital to 70 young entrepreneurs in each of the 1,450 wards, this ensures inclusivity and equity across the nation.
