UWEZO CHEQUE ISSUANCE - BUMULA, BUNGOMA

The event was presided over by Cabinet Secretary for Cooperatives and MSMEs development, FCPA, Dr. Wycliffe A. Oparanya, alongside the CEO of the Financial Inclusion Fund (Hustler Fund), Mr. Henry Tanui, who oversaw the disbursement to beneficiary groups.

Dr. Oparanya emphasized the Government’s focus on expanding access to affordable credit, noting that the Uwezo Fund and Hustler Fund remain key drivers of entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods. Mr. Tanui highlighted the growing impact of inclusive financing in supporting youth, women, and small enterprises.

The initiative marks a significant step in bridging financial gaps and strengthening economic opportunities at the community level.
